POWERGRID commences Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 with nationwide integrity pledge UPDATED

Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) commenced the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, being organized from 26 October to 1 November 2026, with a nationwide reaffirmation of its commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical governance. Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra, CMD, POWERGRID, administered the Integrity Pledge at the Corporate Centre in the presence of Directors, the Chief Vigilance Officer, and senior officials of the Corporation. Messages from the President of India, Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Central Vigilance Commission were read out during the ceremony.

The observance witnessed enthusiastic participation from POWERGRID employees across its offices, substations, and project locations throughout the country. From its Corporate Centre to regional headquarters and establishments spread across the length and breadth of India, employees collectively took the Integrity Pledge, reaffirming their resolve to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and accountability in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Adding a symbolic dimension to the commencement of the week, POWERGRID also organized the release of sky balloons at its establishments across the country. As a key contributor to India’s power infrastructure, POWERGRID remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting transparency, accountability, and integrity across all spheres of its operations.
