Contractual, casual & outsource staff of Ministries/ Depts at home to be paid wages during lockdown
As a measure to avoid undue hardship during lockdown period, Department of Expenditure [DoE] has issued instructions that any contractual, casual and outsource staff of Ministries/ Departments and other organizations of Government of India, who are required to stay at home in view of the lockdown order, shall be treated “on duty” and be paid necessary pay/wages accordingly.
