Inordinate delay in appointment of new CMD, Central Electronics Ltd
Shankar Narayan, GM, BHEL, who was selected for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Central Electronics Limited (CEL), by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on October 29, 2025, is still awaiting for the appointment orders. Presently, Chetan Prakash Jain, an Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) of 1994 batch officer, is holding an additional charge of this post.
