Seven IPS officers have been given new assignments in Telangana. Shikha Goel has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Home Department and will continue additional charge of Director, Telangana Cyber Security Bureau and Forensic Science Laboratory, while Devendra Singh Chauhan is posted as DG, Vigilance & Enforcement and ex-officio PS, GAD and Shahnawaz Qasim was shifted as IGP, Multi Zone-II with full additional charge (FAC) of IGP, Personnel. Similarly, Dr Tarun Joshi was moved as Commissioner of Police, Future City; Avinash Mohanty as DG, Drugs Control Administration and Director, Prohibition & Excise, with additional charge of Director, ACB; Ms B Sumathi posted as Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri and Kartikeya IG, Intelligence has been assigned full additional charge of IGP, SIB Intelligence.
