Will two units in I&B Ministry be merged?

There is a rumor that two units under the Ministry of I&B are likely to be merged. If sources are to be believed at a recently held initial meeting the proposal was discussed summarily. Sources said that it is being felt that the working of the two units is more or less same and if they are merged, the working of the single unit would be more effective. But there is no official word in this regard.
