Will the govt merge branches of SBI?

There is a strong rumour that the government is likely to merge some SBI branches in Delhi. In the National Capital, almost all Bhawan have SBI branches. After the Kartavya Bhawans several old buildings like Nirman Bhawan, Udyog Bhawan, Shashtri Bhawan are being dismantled and the big question is where these branches will go. And all branches can not be shifted in Kartavya Bhawans. It is said that it has reportedly been decided to merge these branches with some nearby branches. According to sources, the Shashtri Bhawan branch is likely to merge with the Rail Bhawan branch. And staff of the SB branch will also be transferred to nearby branches. The Parliament Complex also has two SBI branches. But the government is yet to issue orders in this regard.
