UP Government appoints new district magistrates in 14 districts UPDATED

Fourteen IAS officers have been given field posting as District Magistrates of various districts in Uttar Pradesh. M. Arunmoli, Vice Chairperson of the Agra Development Authority, has been entrusted with the responsibility of District Magistrate (DM) of Etah. Meanwhile, Sanjay Chauhan, the former DM of Amethi, has been appointed as the DM of Kushinagar. Mahendra Singh Tanwar, the outgoing DM of Kushinagar, has now been posted as the DM of Kanpur City. Mrs Anuj Malik, Chief Executive Officer of the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority, will be the new DM of Sant Kabir Nagar. Alok Kumar, currently DM of Sant Kabir Nagar, has been transferred as DM of Pilibhit. Gyanendra Singh, the outgoing DM of Pilibhit, is posted as the new DM of Ballia.

Likewise, Shashank Chaudhary, Additional CEO of Invest UP and UPEIDA, has been handed the charge of DM of Amethi. Divyanshu Patel, Municipal Commissioner of Moradabad Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as the DM of Baghpat. Prabhas Kumar, Special Secretary for Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply, has now been appointed as the new DM of Mahoba. 

Furthermore, Umesh Pratap Singh, Special Secretary for Backward Classes Welfare, has been appointed as the new DM of Bijnor. Meanwhile, Satya Prakash Patel, Special Secretary for Urban Development, has been given the responsibility of DM of Hathras and Ashok Kumar, Special Secretary, Irrigation, was posted as the DM of Hamirpur.
