Uddhav Thackeray calls Abhijeet Dipke Lord Vishnu's Avatar?

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray has sparked a political debate by describing CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke as an "avatar of Lord Vishnu" during a public address. Commending the ongoing student-led movement against the centre, Thackeray highlighted how these youth-driven protests have successfully reinvigorated democratic values. He emphasized that the demonstrations inspired citizens to shed their personal hesitation and actively voice grievances concerning critical national issues.

In his address, Thackeray directed sharp criticism at the Central government regarding mounting discontent among the youth, accusing the administration of neglecting meaningful dialogue with these student representatives. He urged both ruling and opposition leaders to constructively engage with young activists, arguing that robust democratic institutions depend on listening to public concerns rather than suppressing them.

However, Thackeray’s praise for Dipke reportedly triggered internal friction. Reports suggest several senior Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders expressed unease with the divine comparison, viewing the extreme framing as politically risky and inappropriate.
