Rear Admiral Srinivas Maddula took over as Flag Officer Commanding the Indian Navy’s Western Fleet, succeeding Vice Admiral Vivek Dahiya. The change of guard ceremony marked a leadership transition in the Navy’s key operational formation, often called its “Sword Arm.”
