Punjab govt transfers two IAS officers

Punjab transferred IAS officer Pallavi Mishra (2023) from ADC (General), Amritsar to ADC (Rural Development), Amritsar; PCS officer Surinder Singh (2012) was moved from ADC (RD), Amritsar to Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jalandhar, replacing Sandeep Rishi, IAS. The order followed ECI approval, an important indicator that transfers affecting election-sensitive administration are currently being handled with heightened procedural scrutiny.
