Cabinet to approve Delhi Metro Phase IV today?

The Union Cabinet is expected to approve the extension of Delhi Metro’s Phase-IV project in its meeting scheduled for today, with an estimated outlay of around ₹11,800 crore. The proposal aims to expand the Metro network to improve last-mile connectivity and ease traffic congestion across the National Capital Region. The extension will cover key corridors currently under implementation, enhancing connectivity to rapidly growing urban clusters. Once approved, this phase is likely to be jointly funded by the Centre, Delhi Government, and international agencies, marking another major push toward sustainable urban transport infrastructure in Delhi.

Shehzad Poonawalla to be promoted within BJP soon?

Shehzad Poonawal, a prominent political commentator and national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), appears to be gaining increasing prominence within the party ranks. His heightened presence across media platforms, both in television debates and social media outreach, suggests that he is being positioned for a more influential role. Poonawalla’s articulate defense of party policies, sharp debating skills, and ability to connect with urban and youth audiences have made him a visible face of the BJP’s media strategy. In recent months, his frequent appearances alongside senior leaders and participation in key campaigns have further fueled speculation about his elevation. Political observers see this as part of the BJP’s broader effort to promote younger, media-savvy leaders who can strengthen the party’s communication and outreach. If current trends continue, Poonawalla could soon hold a higher strategic or organizational position within the party’s national framework.
