Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been holding regular online interactions with key alliance partners from Bihar to discuss evolving political strategies and coordination within the Mahagathbandhan ahead of the assembly elections. The conversations have included leaders from the RJD, CPI, and other Left allies, with discussions focusing on strengthening the alliance’s electoral communication and coherence across constituencies. According to party sources, Gandhi emphasized unity and coordination, urging partners to resolve all internal differences promptly to project a cohesive front against the NDA government in the state. These deliberations are part of Congress’s broader outreach aimed at energizing the INDIA bloc’s campaign in Bihar. Leaders present described the exchanges as “constructive and forward-looking,” underscoring the party’s commitment to deepening collaboration within the opposition alliance. 

Trump's stand against India; China irks Russia

US President Donald Trump continuously raises tariffs against India and China for one reason and another. He also directed both countries to stop purchasing oil from Russia to cripple Moscow economically. In the changing scenario, India, China and Russia are closer and doing business within the countries. Experts said that Trump's continuous warning to India and China has irked Russia. Tariff stand of Trump is also hampering his attempt to stop the Moscow- Kyiv conflict, they said.

Rajinder Gupta Joins RS, Boosting AAP's Wealth and Punjab's Influence

Businessman Rajinder Gupta has joined the Rajya Sabha (RS), changing the financial picture of India's Parliament. With assets worth Rs 5,053 crore, Gupta is now the second-richest MP, following BRS’s Bandi Partha Saradhi. His election significantly increases the AAP's total assets in the Rajya Sabha from around Rs 1,100 crore to nearly Rs 6,200 crore, making AAP richer than YSRCP, Congress, and BJP in the Upper House. 

Gupta’s entry also puts Punjab at the top of the wealth rankings among Indian states in Parliament, surpassing Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. As a first-generation entrepreneur and Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, Gupta has created a company that employs over 17,500 people. He has been honored with the Padma Shri award in 2007, showing his commitment to responsible wealth creation, having paid over Rs 779 crore in taxes over five years. 

In addition to his business success, Gupta is involved in education, healthcare, skill development, and rural improvement, promoting inclusive growth. His unopposed election signifies not only a financial boost for AAP but also a new phase where business and governance come together — highlighting leadership based on integrity, compassion, and building the nation.
