Rajya Sabha MPs Still Await Arrears – Pending Dues Cross ₹30 Lakh
In 2023, there was a salary hike for Members of Parliament and their personal staff. It is said that Members of Rajya Sabha and their personal staff reportedly did not get the arrears , pending for the last two years while LS Members received the payment long back. Sources said that the controlling ministry said that it has no budget for the payment of arrears. It is said that pending arrear has crossed Rs 30 lac.
