Will minority votes shift?

After the successful passage of the Teen Talaq Bill and now Waqf Amendment Bill 2025, the country may see a new political alliance. Experts opined that there is a growing concern among minority, especially Muslim voters, that INDIA Bloc has now become redundant. And this thought, if translated into votes, may change the political canvas of the country. Now the question will be - who could be their new political 'Godfather'?

Congress starts Dr. Manmohan Singh Fellows programme

The Congress party is going to start the Dr. Manmohan Singh Fellows programme, which will identify and choose 50 mid-career professionals from across the country every year and who are passionate about building a modern, progressive, prosperous India. These 50 people will be chosen by an eminent panel through a very intense selection process. As per party, this programme is a full-time commitment to enter politics with an absolute conviction for secular progressive politics. This is not an entry-level internship programme, nor is it time-bound with just a certificate at the end of it.
