The central government is weighing a fresh law for judicial appointments following the alleged cash haul from the residence of Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Varma. Sources hint at a possible revival of the National Judicial Appointments Commission (NJAC) Act. With Congress and other opposition parties reportedly open to the move, the proposal could gain traction. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has already stirred debate in Parliament, and an all-party meeting is expected soon.
