Post-Hasina Bangladesh frames potential membership as diplomatic diversification to secure Turkish military technology, Saudi economic backing, and Pakistani security cooperation under a "Muslim family" framework, yet New Delhi views an expansion of a Pakistan-linked mutual defense architecture onto its eastern flank as a severe geopolitical threat.
