Leo Puri to take over as Chairman, Asian Paints Ltd

Leo Puri has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Asian Paints Limited with effect from January 23, 2027. He has also been appointed as an Additional Independent Director of the company with effect from September 7, 2026.

Puri has over three decades of experience across financial services and corporate boards and has served as CEO and Managing Director of UTI Asset Management Company. Besides, he is also on the board of Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd as Independent Director.

Meanwhile, R. Seshasayee will cease to be Chairman upon completion of his term as an Independent Director on January 22, 2027.
