India-China Border Trade Resumes via Nathu La Pass

Border trade between India and China through the historic Nathu La Pass in Sikkim officially resumed today, marking a significant step toward boosting regional commerce and strengthening economic ties. The annual trading season reopened with official ceremonies along the Indo-China border, drawing local traders, government officials, and community leaders.

Sikkim's Minister for Commerce and Industries, T.T. Bhutia attended the reopening ceremony, emphasizing the strategic and economic importance of Nathu La for the region's prosperity.
