Air Marshal Vivek Hande takes charge as Director General Medical Services

Air Marshal Vivek Hande assumed charge as Director General Medical Services (Air) (DGMS (Air)] on September 1, 2026, on permanent secondment to the Indian Air Force. He brings extensive experience in clinical medicine, healthcare administration and tri-service assignments to the key leadership position in the IAF’s medical establishment.
