DEBATE (1)
Whether it is Rahul, or Mamata or Kejriwal against Modi or all of them collectively against Modi result will remain the same Modi returns in 2024. How can anyone think of such a comparison ?

DEBATE (2)
Opposition is very strong but Congress is scattered due to the leadership crisis. The Modi government is a big failure in so many ways.

In praise of new LG of Delhi
For the first time the Modi government appointed a man V K Saxena with proven capability outside the traditional coterie of people from politics and bureaucracy to the post of Lt Governor of Delhi. I do not know him personally but he has shown his capabilities in abundance in Khadi turn over. In my book ‘Quest for Civility’ which I sent to the Prime Minister, I have requested the Prime Minister if India wants to progress we need reforms and break the ring that surrounds the power centre and thus prevent use of a vast talent available in the country.

DEBATE (1)
Rahul Gandhi doesn’t stand before Narendra Modi any where.
Raj Shekhar
Disparity between IAS and IPS officers
Why no one is interested in increasing disparity between IAS and IPS officers in Centre on empanelment. It is causing a lot of frustration and loss of morale. Good IPS officers need to be attracted for Central deputation with all incentives.

More appointments of IRS officers needed to deal with corruption

Huge number of rising frauds /money laundering in banking /financial sectors is a serious matter of concern for the Government. For better governance in banking /financial sector from the point of view of Direct/Indirect Taxes it is extremely necessary for central govt to post IRS Officers ( at least in the rank of Dy Secy / Director rank ) in Reserve Bank Of India , Public Sector Banks and other important govt. organizations like National Stock Exchange etc .

Lokpal mere wastage of public money

Lokpal remained on paper only. What is his achievement? How much has been spent during the last five years? Mere wastage of public money.

Need to ban protests on highways, roads etc

Off late, protesters all over the country are blocking national/state highways to highlight their grievances. Yesterday, Delhi-Gurgaon roads were blocked by protestors seeking to raise an AHIR regiment in the Army. This caused a lot of inconvenience to thousands of commuters. Last year farmers blocked highways connecting Delhi-Gurgaon and Delhi-UP for nearly a year. While people have the right to protest against the Government(s) policies, they have no right to block roads etc and cause inconvenience to others. The Government of India should make a Law to regulate such protests. No protest on national/State highways, important roads within capital cities etc. should be permitted.

Two bills meant to contract burgeoning population

Mukesh you yourself will call the CAA Bill and Population control Bill as useless matters. But you will not realize that the two bills are basically meant to contract burgeoning population of the country (an issue on which you want that everybody should dwell).

Pay more attention to unemployment

People and Government should pay attention to the unemployment and poverty in the burgeoning population instead of useless issues. Government should ensure jobs to each and every citizen.

A person should be retired honourably

Adding to the post of K Srinivasa Rao, I would like to add that all extensions beyond superannuation should not be encouraged as it would not give a more deserving person a chance to serve the Government in a better way. On the date of superannuation, the person should be retired honourably and the new incumbent should be given a chance. If the Government wishes to give him some benefit, they can give them the freedom to join their political party and to contest elections. But post retirement continuation in the same post should be avoided.

Cong leaders show solidarity

In the Nav Sankalp camp, the Congress leaders tried to give a successful message of 'all is well' by showing solidarity, which was not expected as the party has seen resignations by key leaders and infighting in recent times. The leaders of Group 23 also tried to do 'damage control' by giving meaningful suggestions for the betterment of the organization while showing ideological solidarity despite the difference of opinions. The members of Group 23 tried to send a message by taking the middle path. But the poster war between Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot definitely made headlines.

Tenure of Dr Rajesh Kumar as CS, Manipur extended

These types of extensions deny other deserving officers the opportunity to occupy the top bureaucratic post in their respective states before they superannuate.

One family, one ticket rule will have no impact

The Congress appears set to enforce a ‘one family, one ticket’ rule in the party. According to AICC General Secretary, Ajay Maken, the second or more persons from a family can be given tickets only if they have worked for at least five years in the party. Thus this rule will have no impact on Gandhi' s or most other senior leaders as anyone contesting polls will claim that he/she has been working for the party for 5 years or more. No one can get a ticket without working for at least 5 years except in a few exceptional cases. Congress leaders should brainstorm why the party has declined so rapidly in recent years and how it can reverse this trend?

Removal of UP DGP surprising

Removal of Uttar Pradesh DGP is surprising. More surprising is that he was removed from the post as he was ignoring the Chief Minister and taking no interest in works.
