After the retirement of Sudip Lakhtakia, lobbying for the post of DG of NSG is at its height ? According to sources, names of Keshav Kumar, M.A. Ganapathy and V S  Kaumudi are doing the round for the post. All these IPS officers belong to 1986 batch. Kumar belongs to Gujarat cadre while Ganapathi is from Uttarakhand and Kaumudi is from AP cadre. He has worked in NIA also. Lakhtakia is retiring this month end.
