Rakesh Bhanot, Adviser, Competition Commission of India (CCI), has been appointed as Acting Director General of the Investigation Wing of the Commission after a vacancy this post arose upon Anshuman Patnaik, Director General, demitting office consequent upon his empanelment and appointment as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
