MD OMC, Sudhansu Mohan Samal, IAS, visited and reviewed production, despatch, ongoing MDO project and focused on enhancing operational efficiency, production performance, and adherence to safety. He was accompanied by Director (Operations) Shri Sabyasachi Mohanty, Director (HR) Shri Alok Kumar Pal, Director (Finance) Shri Bana Bihari Pani and sectional heads from the Head Office. During the visit, the MD reviewed production and sales performance and directed the team to work towards enhancing production, achieving full Environment Clearance (EC) capacity to meet the needs of steel-based industries. He also instructed to prevent pilferage and maintain the highest safety standards across operations. Review of Key Operational and Project Areas: MD instructed officials to enhance efficiency of the 1200 TPH Fully Mechanised Primary Screening and Crushing Plant. At the despatch area, he assessed the mechanised loading system and reviewed progress of the Mechanised Wagon and Truck Loading project. He emphasised completing the project within the timeline to strengthen despatch efficiency and support overall sales target in future. Reaffirming OMC’s commitment to efficiency, accountability, and safe mining, Shri Samal urged teams to adopt coordinated, technology-driven practices to ensure sustained performance in the current fiscal.
