S M Ramanathan, ED, Bhopal Unit, BHEL, has been selected for the post of Director (Engineering, Research & Development), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on December 31, 2024. As many as 10 persons were interviewed for the same. Ramanathan was also a strong contender for the Directorial posts: Director, Industrial Systems & Products and Director Power, but he was not selected then.
