Resentment brews in CCI on moratorium on promotions, outside deputation

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is currently experiencing an unprecedented exodus of its top brass and professionals, raising serious questions about the internal dynamics and future stability of the institution. In a shocking turn of events, Chief Economic Advisor Payal Malik, Director  Naresh Bhodke, and Secretary Anupma Manand have all resigned prematurely within a span of a few  months. This trend of abrupt departures is not confined to the upper echelons alone; around 30 to 40 young professionals and research associates have also left the CCI in the last year.
