A fire incident in DoPT’s IC division in North Block has reportedly engulfed important files. According to sources, this division looks after many important affairs such as: matters related to international corporation, policy matters relating to welfare activities for central government employees/residents welfare associations/central civil services culture & sports board (CCSCSB), legislative matters relating to prevention of corruption act and whistleblower act / Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, Complaints of corruption relating to Central / States / UT Administration and employees of Public Sector Undertakings / Matters related to CVC etc.
