Ever since P Narahari IAS took over as the Secretary of MSME Department in Madhya Pradesh in September 2021, the department has come into focus and is abuzz with many achievements. His initiative of organising 'Rozgar Diwas' every month by coordinating with various departments has not only given self-employment to more than 13 Lakh youth in 2021 but also made Madhya Pradesh the state with least unemployment rate at 0.5% (as on June 2022 as per Center for Monitoring Indian Economy). He also designed the new Start Up policy of Madhya Pradesh which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 13th May 2022 and is being applauded for being the most progressive StartUp Policy in India.
Narahari also took keen interest in developing the State Clusters in Toys, Furniture, Textiles etc. His efforts led to sanctioning of 16 State Clusters and another 35 are in the making. A special package for Toys and Furniture clusters has been approved setting an example in the entire country in the realisation of Prime Minister's vision for Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
