Country sees a new CJI average every 18 months

The Supreme Court of India - the supreme judicial body and the highest court of the country – established in January 1950 has recently got 48th Chief Justice. Going by the statistics, the average tenure across all CJIs comes to 1.5 years meaning thereby that the Country, on an average, sees a CJI every 18 months.
