J&K :DGP has no deployment powers
In J&K, DGP has been divested of all powers to deploy cops in the state. According to an order, now Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, Security Advisor to LG, in consultation with Special Security Advisor, K Vijay Kumar, MHA, will execute the transfer postings of SHOs and other police officers.
