Pramod Agrawal to be third IAS officer to serve as CMD, CIL
A 1991 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, Pramod Agrawal will be third IAS officer to serve as Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Coal India Limited (CIL) after two IAS officers rendered their services to this post in CIL history. Sutirtha Bhattacharya, a 1985 batch IAS officer Telangana cadre, S Narsing Rao, a 1986 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, enjoyed this Additional Secretary level post of CMD before the non-IAS incumbent Anil Kumar Jha.
