Now empanelment for Secretary ship in GoI to depend on age ?
If top sources are to be believed, only officers attaining the age of 57 will be empanelled as Secretary in the Government of India.It means Secretary will not be appointed for a short period. Indication to this effect is appointment of 1985 batch IAS officer Ajay Kumar as Secretary Defence.
