Once in a month or two, top boss of the Indian Bureaucracy Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba feels uncomfortable. And the occasion is when CEO of the Niti Ayog Amitabh Kant goes to attend meeting with him. Since Amitabh Kant is 1980 batch IAS officer and Rajiv Gauba is 1982 batch IAS officer, the latter (despite being Cabinet Secretary) has to address Kant as “Sir”.
