Three officers of Indian Statistical Service (ISS): Rakesh Kumar, B N Tiwari and Tapas Kumar Sanyal have been promoted to the grade of Director General and given new postings. Accordingly, Rakesh Kumar has been appointed as DG (Survey), NSSO, MoSPI, Delhi, while B N Tiwari was posted as DG (Statistics), Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi and Tapas Kumar Sanyal is DG (Social Statistics), CSO, MoSPI, New Delhi.
