Vinaya Prakash Singh, (IPoS-1988), has taken over as Senior DDG (Vig) & Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Department of Posts. Being a manpower-intensive Department with about half a million workforce, India Post has the distinction of having its CVO at Additional Secretary level unlike many other Departments/PSUs, whose CVOs are generally at Joint Secretary or Director level. Prior to joining the Postal Headquarters, he worked as Chief Postmaster General of Uttar Pradesh.
