For the first time, an IAS officer Afzal Amanullah of 1979 batch, former Secretary to Govt of India, a man with proven records and his contributions for cause community and nation development are all over in public domain. Post retirement, he  was picked up by the Govt of India as Chairman of three important committees - 1. Reforms in Minority Education, 2. Reforms in Haj - Member were ex High Court Justice ( Rtd), ex VC AMU, Gen Zaheer Udeen Sahib and ex VC Jamia University, Mr Talat Ahmad and one on 3. Reforms in Madarsa education.
